Several hundred local adults and children attended the annual Hearfest fundraiser supporting the Mend A Heart Foundation at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook on Feb 9. Themed “a hoedown for little hearts” attendees arrived in country attire, and enjoyed connecting with friends as they browsed silent auction packages, listened to live music and feasted on a barbecue buffet.
